The Institute on Religious Life cordially invites youth (ages 15-25) to the Saturday, April 26 session of the 2014 IRL National Meeting, at the beautiful campus of Mundelein Seminary.
Teens and young adults are invited to attend Saturday's session - lunch included - free of charge as the IRL's guests.
In the morning, the young people will attend the general session that includes a live multimedia performance of Saint Luke Productions' "Faustina: Messenger of Divine Mercy." This drama shares the powerful message of Christ's infinite mercy to the world - something so badly needed in our times!
In the afternoon the young people will get a rare opportunity to spend time with Mother Dolores Hart, O.S.B., former Hollywood actress and current Prioress of the Benedictine Abbey of Regina Laudis in Connecticut. Mother will recall the fascinating journey from Hollywood as an actress to holy vows as a cloistered, contemplative nun. She will candidly share the struggles she faced coming from a family affected by divorce, working in movies, coming to discern God's will for her life and staying faithful over the years to that calling despite trials and tribulations. The day concludes with a 4 p.m. Mass.
Consider joining the 250+ young people who come each year from as far away as Wisconsin, Minnesota, Michigan and Nebraska. This is an opportunity for your youth group to have a deeply enriching and life-transforming experience. I hope to see you there.
