Dear MI Knights,
We are grateful to announce that the MI National Office has officially moved to a temporary location in a local parish, Santa Maria del Popolo, in Mundelein, Illinois, as we discern where the Immaculata wants the MI National Center to locate permanently.
As you know from my previous correspondence, this move was not our choice, not our preference. The Immaculata, however, has been looking out for her MI quite beautifully. As you can see in the pictures published in the January MI E-publication, we have a new and very nicely equipped temporary office. Still, the challenge remains, to find a suitable permanent location within the coming months, all while we maintain the ordinary operation of the National Center. Know that we appreciate all the prayers and encouragement shown to us during this difficult transition. Please stay in touch and feel free to let us know if you have questions.
As part of our negotiations, the MI was finally able to secure a copy of the database, which is now being set up. This may take several weeks. Because of this delay, we were not able to send out an appeal for funds to support the Immaculata's mission. Would you please consider making a tax-deductible online donation? If you wish to send in your gift via USPS, please address donations to: MI National Center, P.O. Box 7645, Libertyville, IL 60048.
In collaboration with Conventual Franciscan Friars, MI priests and leaders, we are planning special celebrations in various areas of the country, pilgrimages to Rome and other events. We will keep you posted via mailings, the MI E-publication, The Mission of the Immaculata, Facebook and our website.
May the Lord grant us all His Peace throughout this new year of grace.
Yours in the Immaculata,
John W. Galten
MI National President
